Our Impact

In just three years we have already made significant impact in the communities we serve.

  •  We prepare almost 70,000 meals every day to students nationwide.
  •  We have key partnerships with healthy food suppliers including Whole Foods Market, Organic Valley, Niman Ranch and local farmers to help us deliver on our promise of providing all-natural, safe and fresh meals for students.
  • Many of our schools have reported noticeable improvements in their students including higher attention levels in class, fewer disciplinary problems and an increased interest in healthy eating.

School Partner Profiles

The partnerships that we have formed with schools and summer programs has had far-reaching effects on the surrounding communities.

Edison Charter Academy, San Francisco
Edison was one of the first schools to work with Revolution Foods and they have never looked back. Vice Principal Erin Sears says that the change in the school lunch program has lead to “positive results” across the board. As she takes a bite of her handmade chicken tamale, third grader Joanna explains that it is important to eat healthy because, “it helps with her curriculum.”  It’s true—Edison’s Academic Performance Index (API) has gone up 32 points since the switch to Revolution Foods....

Sacred Heart Community Program, San Jose
When Revolution Foods delivered spaghetti with freshly made marinara sauce and all-natural, hormone-free meatballs for the first day of the program, Bridget Hayden (Director of the Sacred Heart Community Summer Program) knew it was a good decision for her students because the meal was much more attractive than what they had in the past. “It’s important for kids to eat food that looks attractive,” she says authoritatively. “I have been very pleased so far and have heard good things from the kids.... I wanted the best [lunches] for these kids because they deserve it. Poverty has so many constraints and limitations and I wanted to show these kids that they deserve to have high quality things.”
