 Caroline Chiles, General Manager of Los Angeles, began her career as a Management Consultant with Kurt Salmon Associates/Swander Pace & Company. During her tenure with KSA/SP&Co she worked with several clients in the food and beverage industry, as well as apparel and retail industries, to augment logistics systems, develop training programs, increase capacity and sales, as well as advice on acquisition deals. Caroline interned at Goldman Sach’s Consumer Retail investment banking division in 2006. At college, Caroline led an independent study looking into the feasibility of business models to address childhood obesity, and founded a non-profit entity to provide tuition funds to low income students to complete higher education. Caroline has a BSc from The University of Nottingham and an MBA from Stanford University.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Larry Tapia, Director of Operations of Los Angeles, has over 12 years of food service industry experience in the Operations and Sales Field. Larry has worked for various companies throughout his tenure such as La Brea Bakery and POM Wonderful in Los Angeles. Larry also owns a Food Consulting Company, LEDI Consulting which focuses on implementing the supply chain and SOP’s for food manufacturers. Larry is APICS certified in Operations and has a B.A. from California State University, Northridge.

 

Jess Andre, Director of Sales and School Accounts for Los Angeles, most recently served as an Operations Support Coach in the Oakland Unified School District, supporting ten elementary schools on all things operational. Previously, Jess worked in both communications and finance at Edison Schools, a for-profit manager of public schools, before serving as a crewmember and Co-Director of Curriculum for Reach the World, a non-profit that promotes increased literacy and integration of technology in schools through the development of curricular resources based on the global circumnavigation of a 43-foot sailboat. Jess has a BA in Anthropology from Dartmouth College and a Master’s in Education from the Stanford University School of Education.

Ben Foster, Senior School Account Manager for the San Diego Market, prior to joining the Revolution Foods team , Ben spent 8 years administering community-based recreation programs. His career began after receiving a B.S. in Forest Recreation Resources from Oregon State Unviersity. Ben is a third generation Beaver and expends much energy and passion supporting his alma mater's athletic teams....Go Beavs! Shortly after graduation, Ben was beckoned by the calling of the sunny skies and sandy shores of San Diego. After a brief stint in municipal recreation, Ben served seven years as Recreation Manager for the Viejas Band of Kumeyaay Indians, during which time he co-founded Inter Tribal Sports, Inc., a non-profit organization providing athletic opportunities to Native youth in southern California. Ben continues to serve of the Board of Directors for this organization to help facilitate its growth and success. In their free time, Ben and his wife Christine enjoy traveling and being outside.

  Trina Cristi, School Account Manager, joined Revolution Foods in July 2008. She is a proud mother of her 11 year old son Matthew. After years of seeing what type of food he was served at school, she was inspired to make changes in the lunch program. Trina graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology and has worked at a medical device company for diabetes patients.

 

 

  Julia Arteaga, School Account Manager joined Revolution Foods in June 2008. Graduated UC Berkeley with a BA in International Development Studies (focusing on political economic relations between developing countries and developed countries). During college Julia Volunteered for Sports4Kids at Rosa Parks Elementary in Berkeley. After college she moved down to Orange County Buena Park area to work for First 5 Service as an AmeriCorps*VISTA working as a School Readiness Program Developer on the School Readiness Nurse Expansion Project at Centralia School District. She worked on expanding nutrition and public health education and outreach to the 10 schools within the district and the surrounding communities. She collaborated with the Network for a Healthy California formerly Nutrition Network working on health classes and events, simultaneously working on system development and coordinating a School Readiness Health Fair for the school district. Julia fell in love with nutrition education and outreach thus her arrival at Revolution Foods.

 Erika Marquez, Office Manager, came to Revolution Foods in April 2008 with previous experience as a Project Manager for Disney and as a Business Manager for Advanced Mobility. She is on the advisory board of WYNGS, a charity which raises money for people with spinal cord injuries and is involved with the Livestrong Foundation which raises money for cancer research & awareness. She graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a BS in criminology and a minor in microbiology.

 

 

  Travis Beavers, Executive Sous Chef, started his culinary career in Oakland, California where he attended City College San Francisco’s Culinary Program. Travis moved to Los Angeles in 2005 where he worked as a lead cook in fine dining at several restaurants. Joining Revolution Foods in March of 2008 Travis has worked from Line Cook to currently as a Executive Sous Chef.

 

 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             Anthony Hibbs, Sous Chef, started his culinary career working at Kincaid’s Bay House in Oakland California. He found a love for food where he has worked as a server and expeditor but what he has enjoyed the most is working for others. In 2008 Anthony moved to LA and joined Revolution Foods in May where he has moved his way up to Sous Chef. Derrick Lopez, Sous Chef, is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu from CSCA in 2001. He worked as a Lead Cook at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA for 4 years where he became Employee of the Year. Derrick has also worked for Whole Foods Market where he learned about organic food. He joined the Rev Foods team in August of 2008.
