Ben Cain, General Manager of the Bay Area, began his career in the nonprofit sector. He spent two years in Latin America with Amigos de las Américas, working on variety of international development initiatives. He also has experience in the technology sector, having worked for such companies as Intel Capital and PayPal. In college, he studied the efficacy and community-based health programs, and lived in a vegan co-op. During graduate school, he studied social entrepreneurship and co-chaired the Global Social Venture Competition. Ben has a MFA from Stanford University and a MBA from UC Berkeley.
Jose Carlos Santiago, Director of Operations, Jose Carlos has twenty years of experience managing food manufacturing operations from artisan bread, pastries and cheese processing plants to Fortune 50 companies as Coca-Cola and Safeway. As part of his tenure with The Coca-Cola Company José Carlos moved to Nairobi, Kenya as a technical consultant and assisted with the plant management transition. José Carlos was also a core team member from start-up to fully operational state of the first par-bake artisan bread in USA. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish and his experience dealing with a diverse workforce have been instrumental in his successful career. A musician as well, José Carlos is an active drummer performing with local salsa bands in the Bay area. He holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico and lives in the Bay Area with wife Mayra and three daughters – Andrea, Raquel and Mónica.

Odiaka Gonzalez, Director of School Partnerships, served as the Program Director for Sports4Kids, a non-profit dedicated to increasing opportunities for physical activity and safe, meaningful play. Odiaka has been dedicated to the health and wellness of Bay Area children for the past 8 years with his work with Sports4Kids. Odiaka graduated with a BA in Psychology from Morehouse College.

Antonio Tapia, School Account Manager, comes to Revolution Foods straight from the classroom and from a career in teaching middle school. He taught in the South Bronx before moving to the Bay Area and co-founding a charter school in San Lorenzo. Antonio graduated from Cornell University with a degree in Industrial and Labor Relations and currently lives in Alameda. He is also a certified fitness trainer.
Emmy Highsmith, School Account Manager, joined the Revolution Foods team in August of 2008. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in American Studies. Emmy comes to the team with an interest in health and wellness for children and has experience working with youth as a martial arts and self-defense instructor at Oakland Kajukenbo Kwoon, and as a site coordinator for Sports4Kids.
Paige Lansing, School Account Manager, combines her passion for food and education at Revolution Foods. Paige graduated from Brown University with a degree in Education. Before joining Revolution Foods she was the Development Coordinator at Slow Food Nation where she helped plan the inaugural San Francisco event promoting food that is good, clean and fair. A strong background in event planning, public relations and child development complement Paige’s role as a representative for the school food movement. Paige loves to cook, travel and spend time outdoors.
Keri Keifer, School Account Manager. Born in the Midwest with an innate interest in fresh foods and mountains, Keri went to school at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Chemistry and French. Upon graduation, she navigated westward to begin her professional career in the biotechnology field. She soon thereafter switched gears to attend baking and pastry school at Tante Marie’s Cooking School in San Francisco and has been working to bring good food to communities ever since. She has worked on organic farms, with farmer’s markets and with school garden programs across the Bay Area. Keri has avid personal interests in gardening, baking, writing, and outdoor activities such as running, hiking and camping.
Lindsey Covarrubias School Account Manger, joined the Revolution Foods team in September 2009. Upon graduating from UC San Diego with a degree in Communications and Dance, Lindsey began her professional career at the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula as an Assistant Director of the Center for a New Generation. In addition to teaching yoga, tap and jazz at the Program’s after-school site, Lindsey served as a mentor to twenty 6th grade students. After spending the year surrounded by Hot Cheetos and Funyuns, Lindsey’s interest in the health and wellness of children increased greatly, leading her to join the revolution at Revolution Foods. Lindsey resides in the South Bay and loves yoga, dance, and good old-fashioned musicals.
Erin Hill, School Account Manager. Originally from Southern California, Erin went to school at George Washington University in Washington DC. Erin’s professional career has been focused on children; from living and working at an orphanage in Santiago, Chile, to running the program at a sleep-away camp for girls in Maine, to recruitment of children and families for a free summer program in New York City. At Revolution Foods, Erin loves the daily opportunity to interact with students. When she is not eating a Revolution Foods lunch with students at a school, Erin is swimming, biking, and running.
Bruno Gaborit, Purchasing Manager, Born and raised in Brittany, France, Bruno Gaborit moved to Los Angeles in 2001. There he created a new start-up specialty distributor that specialized in rare spices, brand named Blessac. He is today considered a Saffron specialist in the US. Bruno has created numerous lines of natural products and allergen free foods under the I Can Eat It brand for US distribution. He is an active member of Nagva Volleyball League. Bruno is a graduate with an MA degree in Purchasing and Marketing completing his BA in sales with an electronics major.
Andrew Stasium, Production Manager/Chef, is new to the Bay Area, moving from Boston where he was working for LSG Sky Chefs, Inc. as the Operations Manager - Production Manger/ Executive Sous Chef. In this role he gained experience in employee relations, and was an active participant in hiring interviews and maintaining a level of brand reputation and notoriety, throughout the National and International markets creating over 13,500 meals daily. He is ServSafe Certified, as well as, a TIPS trainer. He has attained degrees from The Culinary Institute of America for Culinary Arts, as well as, Johnson & Wales University for Hotel/Restaurant Management. Andrew is a fan of all things Boston, including the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and we can’t forget the New England Revolution team!

Talicia Beck, Santiation Supervisor, August 2009, Talicia has recently graduated from Colin Community College in Wesson, Mississippi and has worked for Sanderson Farms in the Quality Control Department for the past several years.
