Online Nutrition Resources
The Revolution Foods Nutrition Resources developed in partnership with Full Circle Fund is now available on our website under Nutrition Resources. If you or your school is interested in learning more about other organizations engaged in nutrition and physical activity in the community, the websites listed under Useful Links are great places to start!
Educational Posters
Schools receive educational posters highlighting our quality food standards and new menu item releases. Posters can be displayed in the lunch room to increase student awareness around what is in their food and why. (K-12)
I ATE MY FRUIT Stickers
Students at elementary schools receive I ATE MY FRUIT Stickers during visits from our School Accounts Manager Team. The stickers recognize students for eating their fruit and/or encourage kids to remember this important part of their meal. Every Revolution Foods lunch, breakfast and snack is served with a piece of fresh fruit. (K-6)
Cooking Demo
Revolution Foods offers on-site school cooking demos during certain times in the school year. Cooking demos teach students about using fresh, home-style ingredients, and often have a tasting component built into the activity. (7-12)
Iron Chef
Revolution Foods offers an Iron Chef field trip event to our facility that engages students in friendly, educational and safe competition in the kitchen during certain times in the school year. During the Iron Chef event, students receive a tour of the facility, learn about National School Lunch Program regulations and how we plan lunch menus, and prepare a dish in teams to be judged for appearance, taste, and nutritional value. (Grade 4-12)
Lesson Plans
Revolution Foods will offer lessons aimed at families, teachers or students depending on school interest and need during certain times in the school year. Topics can range from trans fat, high-fructose corn syrup, healthy snacks, and shopping on a budget. (Grade K-12)
